Default More Practical Title Benefits

I think that there shld be some practical benefits for achieving max titles instead of merely displaying them.

I think a good way to implement this is to let guards in respawn point to buff the party if any character has the relevant max title for 50g each buff

Example of buffs link to titles:
Increase of 10% movement for achieving maxing Cartography
Increase of 15% atk dmg for achieving maxing Vanquisher
Increase of 10 armour for achieving maxing guardian
+1 to all skill attributes for achieving maxing skill hunter

I wouldn't mind interesting things happening because of titles, but your examples seem completely overpowered.

Guild Wars needs less grinding benefits, not more.

absolutely agreed.
Linking skills to titles is already too much in my opinion.

God walking amongst mere mortals should give me the ability to kick anyone from the game.

lol what are all these bluffs? its not somebody tricking you
they are buffs

/not signed - over powered ideas and pve is easy enough as it is, if you need them then you need to change your team set-up or personal style.

Hell no. having a distinct advantage over somebody else because you grinded a title for ages is what we need less of in this game.

It would be nice if there were more pets to get by getting higher title ranks. I thought the rainbow pheonix was pretty cool. Or maybe you could unlock a day/night option for the game? Perhaps you can unlock a specific zone change. Have a certain area regrow in Ascalon or have the ability to call upon any avatar when you want whether you have favor or not. Bearing in mind you still need to pay for the benefits. Or give a player all access to priests/blessings in Kurzick or luxon territory and allow them to choose what faction they want to collect.

Yes. Hence the "we need less of" statement. GWEN was bad enough, this suggestion is just ridiculous.

Though tbh, it actually didn't take very long. Canthan and Elonian vanq were pretty easy with paragons and rits, and Tyrian vanq was just a lot of cspace with sabway while doing homework. I know back when Ensign and Torsen and those guys did the droks vanq before super broken builds were used, it took them 6+ hours or something, and I finished it in 2 with all H/H.

Well.

Let's remember some things here:
1. The benefit from getting achievement titles maxed is getting them maxed. NOTHING ELSE. Protector, Guardian, Cartographer, etc. Should NOT and will NOT have any benefits. That's something that will NEVER change.

2. The benefit from getting plot-related grind titles maxed it's always linked to skills. In this case, the only change that could come is a title effect for Sunspear and separating the title effect from the bounties in kurzick. And maybe some skills more in lightbringer. But just that. Skills.

3. The benefits from getting pure grind titles increased vary:
- Lucky: Affects lockpicks. It could have another effect (the one that would correspond to unlucky)
- Unlucky: It's a side-effect title, so it's part of the lucky title and should have no benefits. Any extra benefit meant to this title should go to the lucky title instead.
- Wisdom: Affects salvages.
- Treasure hunter: Affects salvages and lockpicks. It should count also Treasures, Hidden treasures and reward chests like Dungeon chests or the HoH chest; but the benefits are just fine, and they are a lot.

So, there's only 3 titles left: Drunkard, Party Animal and Sweet Tooth.

What benefit could be for them?
I can see only one:
- Increased effect of the consumables they count.
*For consumables with a duration, 10% duration increase in rank 1 and 100% in rank 2 (double duration).
*For 'instant' consumables (like those that remove DP), 10% effect increase in rank 1 and 33% in rank 2. That way, in rank 1 something that gives 5% morale boost would give 5% anyways, and something that removes 15% DP would remove 16%, and in rank 2, something that gives 5% would give 6%, and something that removes 15% would remove 20%.

Those are the only ones left.
